A fleece wrap made by TotsBots. This is a lovely soft wrap made from a very dense polar fleece with a double layer in the crotch area, making it very slim fitting whilst holding moisture in exceptionally well. It is Aplix fastening with crossover tabs at the waist.

Designed with a generous cut, it will fit over most nappies. Fleece is more breathable than PUL fabric and is preferred by many for night-time use. The fleece allows moisture to evaporate from the nappy area resulting in a cooling effect. Fleece does not absorb moisture so will remain dry even overnight.

However, care should be taken to keep clothing next to the fleece wrap loose otherwise compression wicking could occur which would make clothing or bedding wet. This can also happen on long car journeys. If you are unsure about whether to use a fleece wrap it would be better to initially purchase just one to try out just in case.

• Size 0 is intended for use with boosters, prefolds etc. on a new baby from 6 to 12lbs.
• Size 1 is intended for use with a baby weighing approx 9-20lbs 
• Size 2 is intended for use with a baby weighing approx 18-35lbs

If you are intending on using shaped nappies the size 1 would be a better fit on a newborn. Fleece is easy to care for. Wash with your clothes at 40 degrees (a 60 degree wash is not advised). The use of fabric conditioner can help increase the fleece's water-repelling properties. Indeed, initially I advise washing the wrap a few times before wearing and try to use fabric conditioner and or tumble dry if you can. This will ensure a dry night for your baby.
