Motherease One-Size A personal favourite of mine. This nappy gives superb performance, durability and ease of use. Most cloth nappy users have at least one Motherease One-size (MEOS) in their collection. The combination of the MEOS and an Air-flow or Rikki wrap is a cloth nappy winner! The cotton version of this nappy consists of a soft knitted 85% cotton 15% polyester blend for the outer material and inner absorbent core, which gives the nappy extra durability, absorbency and strength. This really is a nappy that will last the distance with more than one child without going thread-bare or loosing elasticity so is a good investment. It is also very popular on the secondhand market. The nappy adjusts and closes with simple poppers, which are more difficult than Velcro for toddlers to undo. A popper in liner is available separately (accessories) to increase absorbency for older babies. In the small setting, this liner is not required. The nappy is relatively fast drying which is a bonus for parents without good drying facilities. The bamboo version of the nappy has exactly the same design as the cotton but is made of a gorgeous soft unbleached bamboo. This nappy promises the same great performance as the original nappy, but greater absorbency. As with all bamboo nappies you need to expect longer drying times, but as the design is relatively flat this is a quicker-drying bamboo nappy than many that we've tested.
The stay dry version of the nappy has a special stay-dry lining (unbleached only). The stay-dry nappy is lined with polyester to enable wetness to be wicked away from your baby's skin. It is ideal if you have a baby with sensitive skin. There is also a snap in liner with a stay-dry layer to compliment the stay-dry nappy. You are welcome to mix and match nappies and liners. For example choosing a stay-dry liner in a cotton nappy or vice versa. For an older baby, 6mths plus, you do really need the liner for every day, (unless you want to change every couple of hours or so) as this is not the most absorbent nappy on the market, but you can make economies by having less liners than you do nappies as they dry fast. With all Birth-to-toddler nappies, there is the risk that the nappy may be outgrown. The ultrafit/multifit is often a better Birth-to-toddler option for larger or taller babies but is more bulky on a newborn. If you want to get stocked up with this nappy, then buy them in bulk and save £'s. Please see the Nappy Packs & Bulk Buys section for more details. Washing Instructions: Wash at 60 degrees, can be tumble dried. The snap-in liners are listed in the accessories section.
